• 250 g rye flour
  • 250 g maple syrup
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 2 tsp. gingerbread spice mix

Preparation 5 mins – cooking 30 mins :

  1. Preheat your oven to 150°C
  2. Mix together the flour, baking soda and spices.
  3. Add the maple syrup and whisk together.
  4. Pour the mixture into an oiled cake pan.
  5. Bake in hot oven for 50 minutes.
  6. Unmould and wrap in cling film to keep the cake moist and fluffy.
  7. Try to wait until the next day (or even the day after) to taste it, the aromas will be even more intense.
