If you’re a Training veteran, you know what the Open is and we’re sure you’re pretty excited about it!

If you’re new to Training and don’t know what the Open is, then buckle up, because you’re in for an amazing next few weeks.

But why on earth would you say that?

What is the Open?

The Training Open is a Training competition open to everyone and is the gateway to the Training Games. During the next few weeks, you will have the opportunity to measure your fitness level against athletes from all over the world! Yes, the Open is for everyone! Whatever your level, age or experience in Training.

Let’s see when and how it happens.

The Training Open

Who’s it for?

The open is for everyone, regardless of your level! Each announced WOD will include three level categories:

  • RX : Experienced athletes
  • Scaled : Some experience in Training
  • Fundamentals: Little or no Training experience

Not sure which option to choose? No worries, you can switch categories from week to week!

When?

WODs (workouts) are given by Training HQ on Thursday nights.Once the WOD is announced, athletes have until Monday night to do it and enter their results on the Training Games website. This means you can do the WOD over and over again between Friday and Monday to get the best score possible.

Please note: WODS are never given in advance and there are always a few surprises…

This format is spread over 3 weeks and a ranking is given to you at the end of each WOD (i.e. at the end of Monday night) depending on your individual score.

How do I sign up?

You will be automatically be assigned a free Open card so that you can book your spot on resawod.
