Training Stories : Yassir

Hi, my name is Yassir, I am 34 years old and I have been doing Training for 4 months. I used to play basketball and ice hockey, then I switched to tennis and now I mainly do Training and tennis.

Why did you start Training?

I started Training because I really needed something more intense. I wanted to progress in tennis and Training gives me all the elements to be more efficient.

What is your first accomplishment in Training?

My first accomplishment was to achieve a muscle-up during the Swiss Team Challenge! I really didn’t expect that. Everybody pushed me to try, I did it and it happened so I was really happy.

What are your next goals?

Now I’m interested in more complicated moves like the pistol squat or ring muscle-ups.

What are your favourite moments?

It’s especially when you are in the community and meet new people! Here it’s really fun and we have a lot of fun above all. And also the barbecues in the summer!

What was your first impression of Training?

At the beginning I had the impression that it was only for elite athletes, but I quickly noticed that it’s for everyone. Don’t be afraid because everything is adapted according to your level and you’ll see that you’ll make great progress!
