Chocolat Chaud

Ingredients:

  • 250 ml vegetable milk
  • 1 level tablespoon of low-fat cocoa powder
  • 1 tbsp of sweetener: agave syrup, maple syrup, coconut flower sugar
  • 1 level tablespoon of almond puree
  • 1 tbsp liquid vanilla flavouring
  • A knife tip of powdered cinnamon
  • A knife tip of cardamom powder
  • 2 tablespoons of hot water

Preparation:

  1. In a saucepan, place the milk to be heated.
  2. Add all other ingredients.
  3. When the milk starts to simmer, remove it from the heat.
  4. Whisk the mixture so that it foams on the surface.
  5. Serve the mixture in a large cup.
  6. Sprinkle the top foam with lean cocoa powder mixed with a little cinnamon, cardamom and coconut flower sugar.
